Working Together to Support Wild Rivers

The Pandion Institute

We’ve been honored to host a transformative program with Pandion Institute on Idaho’s Lower Salmon River. Native youth ages 16–20 came together to connect with culture and history while learning river skills, outdoor leadership, and what it means to step into the role of a professional river guide.

Pandion’s vision centers on reciprocity, respect, and collaboration. Through mentorship and immersive training, they’re helping Indigenous young adults find belonging and purpose in the outdoor industry.

Save Our Wild Salmon

Proceeds from our 2025 Salmon River Canyons x Kula Cloth trip supported Save Our Wild Salmon, an organization working to restore healthy river ecosystems and protect the iconic fish that sustain wildlife, cultures, and communities across the Pacific Northwest.

For over 30 years, Save Our Wild Salmon has been leading the fight to remove outdated dams, reconnect salmon to their spawning grounds, and restore the natural flow of the rivers they depend on. Their work not only supports the survival of endangered salmon and steelhead but also strengthens ecosystems and honors the lifeways of Indigenous communities who have relied on these fish for generations.
